I’m a graphic designer based in Quebec with a curious mindset and a passion for exploration, specializing in brand identity, publication design, and advertising. I draw inspiration from unexpected places and translate those references into concept-driven, visually cohesive systems. I focus on establishing a strong overall art direction for each project, ensuring it communicates a unified narrative rather than a single isolated idea. Every project is supported by a foundation of visual research that informs and anchors the visual language.

Publication Design

Design a cultural brochure that presents Montréal’s metro as an underground art gallery by showcasing the public artworks commissioned throughout its history. Using information provided by the STM and the instructor, the challenge was to create an informative, conceptual, aesthetic, and descriptive editorial layout that balances artwork, photography, typography, and negative space in a way similar to an art catalogue. The brochure needed to organize and communicate a large amount of content while appealing to a diverse audience including metro users, tourists, students, artists, and architects.
I found this project challenging because it asked me to approach the Montréal metro in a new and creative way, even though it is a space people experience every day while commuting without really paying attention to their surroundings. I chose to focus on the colourful artworks because they strongly contrast with the darker grey underground environment of the metro. For the full-page spreads, I selected images that emphasized this contrast and created a more immersive visual experience. I also incorporated the colours of each metro line into the layouts to reinforce the vibrancy of the artwork and bring more energy and identity to the brochure.
